Currently, China's legal education faces the severe challenge of students' difficulty in finding employment, with the core issue lying in the structural imbalance between talent supply and professional demand. This imbalance primarily stems from the disconnect between knowledge transmission and the development of professional competencies within the traditional legal curriculum system, leading to a supply-side failure. To effectively address this dilemma, the study proposes establishing a competency-based teaching reform approach and applies the competency supply-demand matching theory to conduct an in-depth analysis of the shortcomings in traditional curricula across three dimensions: objectives, content, and methods. Building on this, the study develops a three-stage restructuring model aimed at systematically enhancing the core competitiveness of legal graduates to meet the demands ofthe new era for legal professionals.
